Define the operating constraints
The property team should identify required travel paths, work hours, elevator reservations, loading access, noise-sensitive periods and areas that cannot close simultaneously. These are project-specific operating rules, not universal South Florida code claims. Current building requirements should be confirmed directly with management.
Protection should match the actual method. Dry mechanical work, wet honing, coating removal and adhesive removal create different containment and cleanup needs. The contractor should also define where equipment, water and waste can move without damaging completed or occupied areas.

A useful phasing plan identifies boundaries that can be completed and handed back without leaving unsafe transitions. Cure time, sealer or guard requirements and final cleaning must be included before promising that a zone can reopen.
